Six IP intelligence databases shared directly into your Snowflake account. Geolocation, threat detection, company, ASN, abuse contacts, and residential proxy data. Free to try, no ETL required, updated frequently.
IPGeolocation.io publishes six IP intelligence databases on the Snowflake Marketplace. Install a listing, and the data appears in your Snowflake account immediately. No ETL, no API calls, no data leaving your Snowflake environment. Each database includes a built-in lookup function and supports IPv4 and IPv6.
Resolve IPs to city, country, ZIP, coordinates, timezone, currency, language, and 20 more fields in a single record. Location and localization data together, so your pipeline stays simple.
Detect VPNs, proxies, Tor, bots, and attackers with a 0-to-100 threat score. Returns the actual provider name and confidence level, not just a boolean flag.
30.6 million records mapping IPs to company name, type (business, ISP, hosting), and domain. Turn anonymous traffic into named accounts for sales and security teams.
Every IP mapped to its ASN, owning organization, domain, country, and network type. The layer that tells you who operates the infrastructure, not just where it is.
Name, email, phone, and physical address of the abuse team responsible for any IP range. Enrich an incident log in one query instead of manual WHOIS lookups.
Identifies IPs on residential proxy networks with the specific provider name and last-seen date. A dedicated database for the hardest anonymous traffic to filter, separate from the broader threat flags.
One query adds geolocation, threat intelligence, and company data to every row in your table. No exports, no staging, no API calls.

Click Get and name the shared database in your account. Data and lookup functions appear immediately.
Query. Pass any IPv4 or IPv6 address to the built-in lookup function and get the full record back. For large-scale enrichment, use the JOIN_KEY column for optimized joins.

From fraud detection to compliance, see how teams use IP intelligence inside Snowflake.
Join IP security data against transaction logs to flag high-risk connections before they clear. The threat score and provider name tell your fraud rules whether a flagged IP is a known proxy service or a legitimate corporate VPN. Layer in the Residential Proxy database to catch the traffic that's hardest to filter: IPs routed through real home connections by providers like 922 Proxy or Evomi, identified by name and last-seen date.

Enrich analytics tables with city-level geolocation, timezone, currency, and DMA data. Marketing teams resolve every visitor IP to its local context in a single JOIN and pipe results straight into BI dashboards without leaving Snowflake.
When your SIEM flags malicious traffic, the Abuse Contact database returns the responsible team's name, email, and phone number for every offending IP. The ASN database adds network ownership context. Enrich an entire incident log in one query and route abuse reports to the right contacts automatically.
The IP to Company database turns anonymous web traffic into named business visitors. Your sales team sees which companies browse your product pages, how often, and from which locations. The company type field filters out ISP and hosting traffic so only real business accounts surface.
Filter traffic by country code to enforce content licensing restrictions, GDPR data residency rules, or regional pricing policies. Combine geolocation with the IP Security database to identify anonymizers attempting to bypass geographic restrictions.
IP intelligence databases shared directly into your Snowflake account. Enrich logs, flag threats, identify companies, and localize content with standard SQL. No pipelines to build, no APIs to call, no data leaving your environment.
Instant database access with no ETL, staging, or API calls.
Enrich any IP column with fast, query-ready lookup functions.
Access IP geolocation, threat data, ASN, company insights, abuse contacts, and residential proxy detection.
Run the same SQL workflow on 100 rows or 100 million.
Over 700,000 active developers use ipgeolocation.io for IP intelligence across API and database products. Enterprise customers include Atlassian, SpaceX, Verizon, Tencent, Intuit, VMware, Baidu, Mercedes, Toyota, IKEA, Pfizer, and Dow Jones, among 70+ others.
All six databases include a free trial on the Snowflake Marketplace. Install any listing to start querying immediately with no credit card and no upfront commitment. Browse the full listings on the ipgeolocation.io provider page.
The databases are updated frequently. Updates are delivered automatically through Snowflake's secure data sharing, so your account always reflects the latest version with no manual refresh needed.
The IP Security database detects VPNs, proxies, Tor exit nodes, relays, bots, spam sources, cloud providers, and known attackers. It returns provider names (NordVPN, Zyte Proxy, and others), confidence scores, last-seen dates, and a composite threat score from 0 to 100. The Residential Proxy database is a separate, dedicated listing that identifies IPs on residential proxy networks with the provider name and last-seen date.
Standard marketplace listings are licensed for internal use. For redistribution, OEM, or embedded-product licensing, contact the sales team for custom terms.
It returns 27 attributes per record: city, state, district, country (with ISO 2-letter, 3-letter, and IOC codes), continent, ZIP code, latitude and longitude, accuracy radius, confidence score, timezone, currency code, currency name, currency symbol, calling code, TLD, spoken languages, DMA code, connection type, and GeoName ID. Both IPv4 and IPv6 addresses are covered.
Each database ships with a built-in lookup function. Pass any IPv4 or IPv6 address and get the full record back instantly. For batch enrichment, join the lookup function directly against any table that has an IP column, and every row gets enriched in place.
Yes. Every database and every lookup function handles IPv4 and IPv6 addresses natively.
